Wes T. Garrett has attempted to escape from the highest security facilities imaginable. Every attempt ended in failure. Many would have given up long ago, but Wes has a plan, a promise and a purpose to fulfill. There are those that will try and get in his way, while others aid him in his cause. Whatever fortune, obstacles, or dangers that may lay in his path, Wes is determined to stand.

THE IDEA BEHIND THE MOVIE
Normally, I'm not a big proponent of fan films. I'd prefer to use the time, money and resources to developing a fully original idea. However, as a Can't Stop The Serenity event organizer last year I saw the chance to help promote a series of great events, along with raising awareness and money for an amazing cause such as Equality Now. I had a couple of projects already in the works, but decided to put them on hold and work on creating a promotional short film for CSTS. I bought a Canon 5D Mark II to film in HD and away we went. This blog is a behind-the-scenes look at the production of Stand. It's a not-for-profit film that will premiere on the internet, as well as be sent to all of the 2012 CSTS screening cities across the globe.
